Älvsbyn is part of the Luleå Region, the largest labour and housing market in northern Sweden. This means you can expand your job search to our neighbouring municipalities if you want to explore more opportunities.

Short distances and good transport connections make it easy to live here even if you work in a nearby municipality. Buses and trains stop in the town centre, and by car it takes about 45 minutes to both Piteå and Luleå, and 30 minutes to Boden.
